  Jacob Gent and his team are amazing. You definitely want them in your corner when working to settle your injury case. Jacob is very honest and his knowledge of how the insurance companies work, since he use to work for them, helps make him a more effective injury lawyer. Jacob has great follow through always explaining the next steps and he never acts too busy to answer your questions. He uses resources like private detectives to investigate the insurance policy limits of the at-fault party and physical capacity testing by doctors to ensure that your limitations due to injury are checked and documented correctly. This is not my first time having to use a personal injury lawyer and having Jacob on my side this time made for an extremely better outcome then I had with the other lawyer. In 2014 I sustained a broken arm and shattered wrist from the air bag deploying when another driver entered into my lane. My car had a broken frame and the insurance company told me they were going to repair the frame and give the car back to me. I did not think it would be safe to drive a car with a broken frame, i thought it should be totaled at that point. This is when I hired Jacob, he agreed with me and went right to work not backing down until the insurance company totaled my car and paid me for it. Jacob stuck with me for three years during my recovery and rehab. We just settled my case and Jacob was able to negotiate the max dollar amount that the at-fault insurance company policy allowed for. I am very grateful for his unwavering commitment to me and my case. I would highly recommend him and his team to anyone needing a personal injury lawyer.

  A great law firm is hard to find. As a lawyer myself, I know what I’m looking for and it’s still not easy to find that perfect combination of intellect, skill, experience, commitment, and compassion in lawyers with whom you can communicate effectively and in whom you can fully place your trust. Richard Adler and Jacob Gent are two such lawyers, and their firm, Adler Giersch, has earned its reputation as the premier personal injury practice in the Pacific Northwest. But practicing law is more than just about handling a “case,” and what makes Adler Giersch extraordinary is the way they worked with me and my wife following her injury in an automobile accident. I wasn’t looking for legal representation at that point. I approached Richard initially in search of just a medical referral because my wife had experienced a mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI). Adler Giersch has extensive experience representing clients with such injuries, and I knew that Richard must have consulted with brain specialists in the course of his practice. I hoped he could refer my wife to someone with special expertise in mTBI—someone local. Richard wasn’t bothered in the least by my request. His only concern was that my wife receive the best care available (and he gladly provided that all-important referral). The issue of legal representation was something to be left for future consideration, and there was never any pressure. We simply kept in touch with the firm as my wife visited various specialists for treatment and therapy, and when the final extent of her injuries and disabilities was known, we met to discuss the legal options. That was when we finally made the decision to retain Adler Giersch. We couldn’t have made a better choice. My wife’s case did not involve a large claim, and there were complicating factors that made it a difficult case to take to trial. These factors were fully explored and explained to us, and the decision to achieve a settlement was a shared one. Jacob was extremely effective in negotiating that settlement, which actually exceeded my wife’s expectations--it was an excellent outcome from every standpoint. While not every case leads to a satisfactory conclusion, when you deal with a great firm and great lawyers (and great human beings), the experience itself produces its own form of satisfaction. That was certainly true here; the experience of working with Richard and Jacob was exceptional. Their firm does exceptional work. Don’t hesitate to consult them if you’ve been injured and are considering your legal options. You won’t find more qualified or caring people to represent you.
